The parachutist from Hungary made his 9 thousandth jumps in Avdarma

The parachutist from Hungary Yeshedi Ondrash made his 9 thousandth jump in the framework of international competitions for landing accuracy in Avdarma. The athlete had told the editors of avdarma.md about his further plans.

The parachutist from Eger city (Hungary), in the framework of the parachuting competition in Avdarma, rounded off the number of his parachute jumps in the sky over Avdarma. On Saturday, the 27 of May, Ondrash Yeshedi made his 9 thousandth jump. Such event was called by him a bright holiday in his sporting life.

«I’ve made my 9 thousandth jump. For me it’s a holiday. I am proud of my achievements in parachuting. This means that a lot of time has passed and I am already old. I am 68 years old, but as long as my health permits I will continue to jump», — said Ondrash Yeshedi.

It should be noted that the number of jumps is one of the markers of the longevity of sports life for a parachutist. International competitions for landing accuracy in Avdarma last for two days. 36 athletes from five countries compete for the «Avdarma Cup-2017» and the «Eastern European Cup».

The organizers of the International competitions in Avdarma are the Federation of Parachuting in Moldova, the mayor’s office and the village council.
