The ceremony of awarding the winners of the International competitions in parachuting was held in Avdarma
The ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the International parachuting competitions for accuracy of landing was held in Avdarma.
The «Eastern European Cup» and the » Cup of Avdarma» were won by athletes from Romania. Prizewinners were awarded medals and diplomas. The territory of the Nogai spring Tatar çöşmesi once again became the place of a beautiful event of honoring the athletes who had presented a beautiful holiday of spectacular parachute jumps.
On the second day of the International competitions the athletes hit the skies at 5:30 in the morning. During the competition each parachutist made 7-9 jumps. The participants made one exhibition jump before the closing ceremony.
Roar of the engine, takeoff of the aircraft, picturesque sky in the clouds, bright sun, jump of the parachutists, their accuracy landings and joy of the spectators created the atmosphere of the spectacular air festival in Avdarma.
Awarding the parachutists was held at the venue of the competition. Parachutists from Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and Hungary strove, according to the status of the competition, for both cups.
«The Eastern European Cup» decided the winners in two categories- the team and personal results of the athletes.
According to the results of the competitions in the team event, the prizewinners of the «The Eastern European Cup» were:
1st place — a team from Romania (Aero club)
2nd place — a team from Hungary (Szolnok)
3rd place — a team from Poland (Krakow Wawel)
According to the results of the competitions in the individual event the prizewinners of the «Eastern European Cup» were:
1st place — Istvan Astalos, Hungary (Szolnok)
2nd place — Alexandru Nicolau, Romania (Aero club)
3rd place — Zinchenko Sergey, Moldova
The «Eastern European Cup» was won by a team of parachutists from Romania.
The «Cup of Avdarma» decided the winners in four categories — team, individual result among men, individual result among women and among veterans of parachuting.
According to the results of the competitions in the team event the prizewinners of the «Cup of Avdarma» were:
1st place — a team from Romania (Aero club)
2nd place — a team from Hungary (Szolnok)
3rd place — a team from Moldova
In the individual event among all athletes the best were:
1st place — Alexandru Nicolau, Romania
2nd place — Gabriela Balascau, Romania
3rd place — Istvan Astalos, Hungary
In the individual event among men the prizewinners of the «Avdarma Cup» were:
1st place — Alexandra Nicolau, Romania
2nd place — Istvan Astalos, Hungary
3rd place — Zinchenko Sergey, Moldova
In the individual event among women the medalists of the «Avdarma Cup» were:
1st place — Gabriela Bacalau, Romania
2nd place — Bogna Bileska, Poland
3rd place — Padureanu Andrea, Romania
In the individual event among the veterans of parachuting the prizewinners of the «Avadma Cup» were:
1st place — Yeshedi Andras, Hungary
2nd place — Oazu Nantoi, Moldova
3rd place — Iulian Ivanov, Moldova
Five teams of parachutists in the general composition of 34 athletes — 6 women and 28 men strove for the «Eastern European Cup» and the «Avdarma Cup».
The team of athletes from the Aero club of Romania managed to win the «Eastern European Cup» and the «Avdarma Cup».
All athletes, judges, flight crew and young inhabitants of Avdarma who had made the first independent parachute jump with calottes received as a gift from the organizers the polo shirts with the emblem of the competitions and the coat of arms of the village of Avdarma.
Let us recall that the International parachuting competitions for landing accuracy, the «Avdarma Cup», were held already for the fourth time.
The organizers of the International competitions in Avdarma are the Federation of Parachuting in Moldova, the village administration and the village council, with the support of patrons. Jumps and flights supervisor was Sergei Zinchenkov, the president of the Federation of Parachuting in Moldova, Honored Master of Sports, Honored Trainer, pilot-instructor. The initiator and director of the competitions is the vice-president of the Federation of Parachuting in Moldova Ignat Kazmaly.
